Pioneer on the Lake
Formerly Camp Pioneer, a loved destination for generations is in need of help. Many congregations and individuals have been working to repair and modernize the property.
In June of 2026, we took a party of seven to volunteer time on the property. Three adults and four youth worked on four projects. There was plenty of wood to stack because of trees lost due insect infestation. Those trees were cut down and split for firewood. Driftwood on the beach was particularly bad due to the rough winter. Along with smaller debris many large logs floated up on the beach. An arbor to beautify the outdoor chapel was assembled and painted. And the bicycles in the shop needed some tender loving care.
